NATIONAL PET DAY

" Heart melting moments with our Paw-some! "
Happiness is a warm pet. They remind us that we have an obligation and responsibility to preserve and nature for the care of all life. On *13 th April 2024,* Saturday Special assembly was organised at Vidhyashram Public School. The theme of the assembly was *Our Pets* and 11 th April is celebrated as National Pet Day. The students of grade 4 A gave a beautiful message that pets are the most loyal friends of human beings. The unconditional love of a pet can do more than to keep a company. Studies have proved that pets may also decrease stress, can improve heart health and even help children to improve their emotional and social skills. It was a week full of excitement where students shared some important facts of different - different pet animals. Beautiful riddles on animals were also shared. The assembly concluded with a wonderful, exciting and thrilling quiz session which was enjoyed by the students and teachers too. Cherry on the cake was the enactment of old classic rhyme " *Old Mac Donald Had A Farm."* The assembly was dedicated to our " FUR-TASTIC Furry Friends" to whom we love a lot.
