2 OCTOBER

At Vidhyashram Public School, a special assembly was held on October 2nd to celebrate the birth anniversaries of Mahatma Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastri.

Students from Grades 1, 3, and 4 honored these leaders with various performances, including a skit showcasing the Green and White Revolutions and Shastri Ji’s slogan, "Jai Jawan Jai Kisan." The students sang "Sabarmati Ke Sant Tune Kar Diya Kamal" and performed dances, speeches, and poems that highlighted Gandhiji’s values.

They emphasized the "Three Monkeys" of Gandhiji: "See no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil," along with a modern twist—"Do not use mobile." A remarkable celebration indeed!
